When it comes to how to put music on an Ipod, you will first need to see where you import your music from down to your Ipod. Basically, there are two main sources where you can get your Ipod tunes; these are namely from your own CDs or DVDs or from the Internet.

So, if you want to know how to put music on an Ipod from your collection of CDs, you will need to transfer these files from your CD to your computer. The next step is to transform the tunes into Itunes. Then just connect your Ipod to your computer using your USB and wait until your computer recognizes a new drive. Then, just drag and drop all the tunes you want as Ipod music for you. And that’s that.

If you want to put music on Ipod directly form the Internet, you will need to download your Itunes. Make sure you get them from legal web sites and not pirate ones. The pirate ones are not legal, and in addition you might also get some malevolent viruses on your computer (i.e. Trojans and different bugs). Download the tunes that you like, and then connect your Ipod to the computer using the USB provided. Wait until your computer recognizes a new drive. After that, drag and drop the music from the files where you have downloaded them.
