When you want to know how to train your body to run, you will need to know that when you want to start any type of exercise you will need to be conscious of your fitness level. If you don’t know it, consider simply that you are a beginner and take it from there.

In case you are a beginner, the best thing is when you want to learn how to train your body to run is to run for 2-3 times a week and not more. This beginner stage should last for 3 weeks. On the first week start with 20-25 minutes of mild running or even a faster walking. During this time, you should alternate the running with walking, which will enable your body to deal with the lactic acid. If you run for more than the mentioned time or at a faster rate without alternating with walking, your body won’t be able to handle the lactic acid and you will wake up tired the next morning and unable to move because your muscles hurt. The second week, you can increase the time by 3-5 minutes. The third week of training, get back to the initial times of running- so that you allow your body to build up your strength.
Also, every type of exercise and training will require warm up. Otherwise you will take the risk of getting injured, and this is probably the last thing you want when you learn how to train your body to run.

After having finished the 3 weeks beginner’s session, you can try to either run for 4 times a week or to increase the time during which you run. If until now you have run for 25-30 minutes, try to increase this by 10- 20%. When you get to do this level with no trouble at all and your body asks for more, it is time to run to the next stage. You can increase now the intensity of the workout: instead of running on a leveled ground, try to run up on a hill. But remember, one step at a time, if you want to do the how to train your body to run stages properly. It’s also important that you have a pleasant time while working out. So, get some music or choose nice parks where you can also enjoy the scenery.

And remember that how to train your body to run is much easier than training for marathon, so get set and go.
