The stomach ailments may be caused by several diseases and condition and they may have a simple or a complex answer. Learn how to deal with your stomach ailments and get help.

The stomach is placed at the very core of the human body and is the host of many vital organs such as the liver, the intestines, pancreas, appendix or the gall bladder- consequently any stomach ailments may be related to any of these organs- or not. The stomach ailments may be also caused by indigestions, food infections, bad or contaminated water or food, stomach cramps, ulcerous wounds, colitis, gall bladder stones, appendicitis, cirrhosis, piles, intestinal worms, constipation and the list of stomach ailments causes could go on for a long time from here on.

So, when you are disturbed by stomach ailments, you will have to observe the symptoms and see if they are related to any recent foods of dubious provenience that you have consumed. Sometimes the solution for your stomach ailments may be really simple, you may be simply dealing with constipation, food infection or indigestion. The symptoms for such stomach ailments are stomach cramps, bloating, dizziness, nausea. These easier stomach ailments will go away with some diuretic teas and fiber rich foods, and the food infection will need immediate treatment and possibly stomach clearing.

However, if the stomach ailments do not go away in a few days, and they are recurrent, you might be facing something more severe, such as appendicitis, stomach ulcer, colitis or even certain liver diseases such as cirrhosis, you will also have to pay a visit to your physician and ask to run some tests. An ecograph will be required in order to point out the precise diagnosis and to observe the possible irregularities that have occurred. Some diseases such as colitis or stomach ulcers will also need further investigation in order to make sure that the diagnosis is right.

All in all, when you notice upsetting stomach ailments or stomach cramps that won’t go away or are recurrent, you will need to notify your physician and ask for advice and help. The stomach ailments may be of diverse nature; they may be light- being treatable in just o few days, or they will require a more severe diet for a longer duration or even lifetime, plus medication and medical treatment. However, whichever the case may be, the upsetting stomach ailments shouldn’t be ignored, as treatment is needed- the sooner the better.
