On the other hand, there’s the McDonald’s one of the largest fast food restaurants on the globe. It produces fast food for busy people and those who like fried chips, big burgers and saturated fats.

So, where do these two meet? A McDonald’s fast food in Califronia has thought to join fast food with Fend Shui. The result is a plastic free space, with bamboo plants, no Ronald McDonald. The red and yellow colors that are distinctive for the McDonalds fast food restaurants were replaced with nature like colors. All these Feng Shui changes are intended to make the people who eat at McDonald’s to feel better, calmer and more energetic. Not only that, but the California fast food restaurant’s owners have also thought that such a Zen décor will make the people willing to spend more time – so more money and they will be more likely to revisit the peaceful place.

Inside this California McDonald’s there are symbols of prosperity, of earth, fire, water and air, which need to exist in a comforting place according to the Feng Shui philosophy. The doors of the restaurant are also positioned in such a manner as to block the bad spirits from entering, so there is nothing but good karma inside the diner. So, now the fast food eaters can have acces to their Zen disposition once they enter this space.

The California redecoration in Feng Shui style will not be a unique fast food restaurant in the McDonald’s chain. The company is intending to make some changes in the look of some other fast foods as well, in order to attract more people.
