Have you ever expected for fortune cookies to predict your future? If not, think again, as two boys from Idaho played the lotto and got rich inspired by a fortune cookie.
Fortune cookies are characteristic for Chinese food and these cookies hide brief messages that usually tell you some things that might happen to you in the future, but these are general remarks or predictions. However, most of the times, these fortune cookies are nothing but fun to read, and they shouldn’t be taken too seriously. Nevertheless, two men from Idaho did take seriously the message of the fortune cookie they’ve dug up from their ordered food and got rich in just a day. How did they do that? It was plain and simple. The fortune cookie inside their Chinese food ‘warned’ the two guys from Idaho that they will win a great sum of money in the near future, so to make this ‘warning’ happen the two boys went and played at Ohio lottery. And guess what, they played the lotto and had 5 out of the 6 winner numbers on their Ohio lottery tickets!
Playing the Ohio lottery and following the prediction from the fortune cookie made the two loaded with 600,000 dollars. This is not at all bad for a simple fortune cookie. Who knows, the two men might have been simply lucky or inspired to go challenge their luck after having read the Chinese wisdom in the fortune cookie? They might have done this for fun and got amazed by the prediction that came true. That was a pleasant surprise indeed.
Who would have thought that ordering Chinese food will make you rich? As a result, when getting Chinese with fortune cookies and hidden messages, you might consider at least the fact that there is a slight chance of these coming true. Just think about the story of the two guys from Ohio who played the lottery straight after getting the message from the fortune cookie- that was no coincidence, was it? On the other hand, in case you get a negative prediction inside the fortune cookie from the Chinese food, just forget about it and wait for the next, and the next, until you get the message the two guys in Ohio got (which is a very common message), and try playing the lottery, you might even win (or not). But it’s worth at least trying.
