The designers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana, joined to work in Milan.Their concepts agreed from the outset, while both believed that fashion should be bold and sexy.
The company`s first parade was in 1986, where the designers had presented some feminine styles. Nowadays,they also engaged themselves in male clothing and accessories. His fame reached to the ends of the earth and the company had begun to build sales in the Far East, specifically in Japan.
In 1992, they decided to venture themselves into a new area and Dolce & Gabbana had begun to create perfumes. The first fragrance called Dolce & Gabbana Perfum was very successful,and it was awarded with the international prize of the Perfume Academy as the best feminine fragrance of the year in 1993.
Dolce & Gabbana Parfum has been included within the aldehyde floral category. His classic and elegant bottle was created by Pierre Dinand.
Among the high notes of the perfume, we can mention the mandarin ivy, basil, freesia, petit-grain and other aldehydes. In his mean notes you discover the carnation, lily of the valley, rose, jasmine, calendula and orange blossom. Finally, his low notes are composed by vanilla, tonca, musk and sandalwood.
