The dog is a domestic subspecies of the wolf, a mammal of the Canidae family of the order Carnivora. Some research appears to show that dogs were first domesticated in East Asia, possibly China.Probably dogs were the first tame animals because it`s a fact that they have accompanied humans for more than 10.000 years. As humans migrated around the planet a variety of dog forms migrated with them.

It`s a fact that dogs are sometimes regarded as the most social animals on earth thanks to their ability to fit into human households and social situations. The ability to learn quickly could be a sign of intelligence. It`s also true that some dogs who do not learn very quickly may have other talents.Domestic dogs serve as more than companions; many earn their keep by working hard.

The loyalty and devotion that dogs demonstrate as part of their natural instincts closely mimics the human idea of love and friendship. This is why many dog owners consider their dogs a family member not just a pet.Dogs have lived and worked with humans in so many roles and they earned their position : "humanity'’s best friends and most faithful companions".
There are many reasons dogs are our best friends: they are affectionate, loyal and totally committed to us.Dogs share the same basic senses with humans: seeing, hearing, touching, smelling and tasting. It is the level of their senses that is different.

Today, many of us own a dog.In America 40 million people own more than 50 million dogs.Dog training for obedience is a continuous process. Dog obedience training is basically a program that requires active involvement of both the owner and the dog.Dog training for obedience is something you should begin from the very day your pet dog arrives at your doorstep. The ideal dog obedience training method is using a consistent reward and punishment system as dogs respond well towards this especially when they are young puppies. You have to make sure that it pays attention to your commands and not get distracted. It`s not a difficult process but it`s necessary because dogs do not have the ability to premeditate an action to solve a problem. The most important thing in the training session is that your dog needs to know that you are serious about the training and command.

So why we love dogs ? There are millions of reasons : unconditional love, warm puppy hugs, cold puppy kisses, doggy smiles, doggy games, doggy cold nose pokes in December ,warm paw greetings. Finally, we adore them when they suddenly start whining for absolutely no reason, when they look as though they're smiling.when they follow us everywhere, when they roll over so you will pet their tummy, when they stare at us with their beedy little eyes.We love them because "they are family" !
