Among the foods that contain vitamin A are: milk and its derivatives, the yolk eggs, fruits, vegetables, especially carrots, and fish liver oil.
The tocopherol or vitamin E helps to maintain the structure of the cells. It regulates the presence of free radicals that can damage the skin. It is also useful for reducing the size of the scars. The vegetable oils, cereals (mainly wheat germ), egg yolk, margarine and vegetables contain vitamin E.
The ascorbic acid, better known as vitamin C, it is important for the production of collagen. This vitamin is not only keeping the elasticity of the skin, but also maintains the natural color of the skin. It operates as a potent antioxidant. A balanced diet provides an adequate amount of vitamins that we need to maintain health and to improve our beauty. It is not recommended the excessive consumption of vitamin supplements, except for medical prescription.
